It’s an exciting time when first contracted for your debut book. There is so much to do and even more to learn. You’d think once the manuscript is finished all the hard work is over! Wrong!!
I now understand that to successfully get that first ‘baby’ onto the shelves and sell well, there is much to learn and ongoing activities you need to be involved with. Don’t get me wrong - I’m not complaining - far from it. It’s another challenge to be undertaken and conquered and I love challenges!! And yes, I do have a stubborn streak.
